✦ ぷっちょ - バナナ (東京限定)
Today let's explore another of my sweets from Japan! It is Puccho sweet in Banana flavour~ This flavour and packaging is Tokyo exclusive. In the previous entry I talked about having a limited edition thing going on for me and here is the proof. I'm not a big fan of sweets so I am very sure I bought this solely because of the packaging lol. Isn't it so cute!!
If you're not familiar with Puccho, they're kind of like Hi-Chew or Fruitella. Soft and chewy and the flavours releases into your mouth slowly. They have regular flavours like Apple, Grape, Soda and Orange, to name a few, but this Banana flavour is limited edition. I think it is probably related to the Tokyo Banana, which is a mini banana custard cake, that is also Tokyo exclusive.
Product: Puccho Banana flavour by UHA
Where can you purchase this from: I got it from a souvenir shop near Meiji Shrine
Price: around ¥850 (5 packs of 10 sweets each)
Okay now, tell me how can you not fall for this cute packaging?! It is adorable!! (*T▽T*)
But wait there's more - it is not just the outside packaging that is cute too:
There are designs on each Puccho pack! Each of them represents something of Japan~ This will be really cute as an omiyage if you can get your hands on it.
But wait!! It is not just the front of the packaging, but the back too!!
(can't you already tell I am a sucker for cute packaging lol)
Just look at the designs!
The first represents Tokyo - you can see the Tokyo Tower, high-rise buildings and trains.
The second one is representing sukiyaki - japanese hot pot.
I'm not too sure about the third one though but it seems like it's representing summer~
The fourth one represents Asakusa - a famous Buddhist temple, and the last one being Odaiba!
But!! There are more designs at the side too! Lalalalala (~￣▽￣)~
Here you can see the Shibuya 109, sumo wrestling, senbei and ningyo yaki and autumn season. Senbei is japanese rice crackers and ningyo yaki is a mini character cake with red bean paste in the middle~ Asakusa has rows and rows of shops selling them so they're known for it.
As for the sweet itself, there wasn't anything special about it. It smelled of faint banana and milk and the insides have a bit of citrus taste. Each pack has 10 sweets and I have 5 packs so........ I would need to give some away to my friends because I for sure can't finish all 50 sweets by myself! ಥ_ಥ
On to better things - November is coming to an end and I am preparing to welcome the month of December! I recently bought a chocolate advent calender and I am so excited for it! I will talk more about it in my next entry~
Thank you for reading (๑>◡<๑)
